In the 6 weeks leading up to the opening of our new Farm Shop, we employed Amanda to handle our Marketing & PR. Amanda Whitmore joined VAQAS (Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service) as an assessor in 2007. She carries out annual quality assessments of all types of visitor attractions throughout the West Midlands region.

The role includes site assessments, one to one debriefs, and the production of detailed, objective reports. She also attends meetings, events and conferences representing VisitBritain to raise the profile of VAQAS.

She adapted to the role very quickly and her positive attitude to work and colleagues are welcome. Amanda has proved to be a very conscientious and enthusiastic member of the VAQAS team.
